Economical water based inorganic flash rust inhibitor for degreased or acid cleaned steel and iron parts. Prevents flash rusting of parts before finishing. Does not affect paint adhesion, phosphating processes, zinc coating and plating, or welding. The protective coating is water-soluble and easily removed if found necessary for any other finishing operation.

RUST BARRIER
Long-term rust inhibitor for indoor use. Rusting of steel surfaces inhibited by this low cost, easily applied chemical treatment. This product replaces conventional alkaline neutralizing bath used after pickling, iron phosphate treatment, milling, rolling, and drawing operations. Safe to use and will not present a serious waste treatment problem because it contains no heavy metals or other hazardous substances, and does not raise the BOD levels of wastewater. Will not affect the adhesion of water or solvent-based coatings to the steel.
